Yeah, its private, built in my backyard. The City has hired a solid designer to do up drawings for the new Bike Park, and based on other parks they've done it should be wicked. Something to look forward to!

Its private for now, I started diggin it when my public trails started getting jacked. Bike Park coming to Sarnia in the Spring, it should be pretty good, right in Canatara park.

Oh Im aware of that too, I worked for a company who used that option on some low end components where it didnt hurt the co. image. The knock offs Im talking about are the show items they display that are a 99.99999% copy of a high end American or European brand product, I guess there meant to show the companies ability to build a similar product. One year it was Race Face and the next it was Haro that were getting ripped off.

You would think from the coverage that Interbike is all high end, super glam exhibitors but for every SRAM or Chris King there are 10 booths just like this selling Chinese knock offs. I was able to attend a couple of times and I seriously could not believe the JUNK thats pedaled (pun intented) every year at Internese.

What's wrong with a 4 pack of jumps? The width of the area we have to use is over 250 ft, it seems retarded not to use every inch of it. Like I mentioned before wood is way more expensive than dirt, and its more suceptable to graphiti and fire, 2 things the City does not want. Im trying hard to sell them on the idea of maybe using either flame resistant paint on cheap wood or maybe even composite lumber (made from recycled plastic.) Luc, you'd know all this if you went to the meeting (burn). hahaha

Canatara is public property, its owned by the city, your good to go anytime you want. But if you ride it you should maintain it too.

Google Sketchup, it took me a bit to get it sorted out but then i was able to hammer it out quit quick. I also used the Google Earth feature which was nice because we have an actual location picked out.

Not sure about too much wood, there starting to worry that the budget might not be enough. Keep in mind that the step ups in the int/Exp section and the slope line wood most likely be wood, if thats what your looking for.

Based on this picture alone I can tell you these guys know exactly what there doing! If the rest of the park has anywhere near the creativity that this little pumper section does the whole place will be "Off the Hook". Oh yeah, I said it.

Under the ply is actually a skinny pallet, I need to fill it in a bit so that it will ride a bit smoother. Sooooooo much speed going into that little berm, this is actually part of the new pump track.
